Random

Wow, what am I doing at this very very late (or early?) timing?
Must be too much sleeping last two days.
And now I am blank at the middle of night yet don't feel like can sleep anytime soon :,(
Now I feel like talking random things...

**********

So I abandoned this blog for quite a long time.
Mostly due to the new job started August last year.
Newly setup. Unstable management. No plan. No rule. No this no that...
So working six days a week was expected and it was even 830am-830pm daily the first few months.
And now there is this economy crisis.
Solution? Alternatives? Control? Cut down? Termination??
It's quite miserable when you can only try hard to plan for survive for yourself, your team, but not able to take any step forward.
Plan for a better future I hope so.
Yes we can! I love you Obama (wtf) :P

**********

I changed the title of the blog. 脑残人士(Lenz) =.=
Sometimes I'd think that too much of my brain cells were dead or were not connected.
I am not sure it is eventually damaging or it has been damaged since stone age la.
Slow reaction. Slow action. Difficulty to express. Bad presentation in any mode. Low memory. Low RAM. etc. And the most serious, blank for a long moment aka 发白日梦.
Does anybody has cure for these?

**********

By the way, tomorrow today is the last working day before CNY holidays yay!
Will be going to KL before going home for CNY.
Hopefully got time to go shopping. I haven't buy my new year clothes ler.

CNY is coming.
What do we got in CNY?
Ang pow (officially given, inofficially give), bah kua + mandarin orange, pai pai, 团圆饭 lunch at 3pm, fire crackers (ooppss), mah jong + cards with 三姑六婆 while they kepo-ing my "status, income how much, bonus how much" and I reply " wah, ah ko how come you become more prettier this year har, wah lut lut, wana find new husband ka @@", secondary school-mates gathering, PS gaming, photo-ing...
Nothing special comparing last year and years before.
It's just some official and unofficial repeated events.
Oh, but I want to go to your new house Ms Cheng Le Shi. Chu San ngam bo? CS ok?

**********

Last few days accidentally browsed through an ex form six (eh, half way runner form six) friend's facebook.
Checked on the album and found this:

A graduate photo without me inside. T.T
So many 熟悉的陌生人 faces including the teachers.

Although it was only about two months time, I was able to join them in sport days, prefect recruitment (and failed @@), camp and so on, which left some footages on my memory la.
Lost all of their contacts as it was such a rush when I came to UTM (Friday got the letter and Monday was the registration).
So forgive me for leaving without a proper goodbye my mates, would really like to meet you all back at Melaka!~~

**********

Did I tell that I am so not ashamed-ly overly like to take my own picture aka camwhore, like lately?
Since like when? Like after change the hairstyle? Like so bimbo-ish. Like OMG!
When it is like in-the-carl-in-the-changin-room-in-the-toilet-in-the-etc.
Like this sexay photo

OK. I KNOW THIS IS ANNOYING.

**********

It's 5am shit.
Ok, I should sleep now. At least a nap.
Bye.

the Superheroes

Lately, there are so many superhero movies in the cinema. Piling up the cinema poster squares are those superheroes in suits. Coolness. Such an action movie supporter I am, I have watched a fews of them. But I reckon that Hollywood realized they are not able to breakthrough their computerized effects, at least at this moment, so they turn their focus onto storylines, highly, even it is an action movie. Twisted and twisted. Some are out to be really good, but some just fail to the expectation.

On my preferences, there is this one twists to be unexpectedly good way and another one twists surprisingly but in fail way.

Hancock

Hancock is a movie directed by Peter Berg.
Tancock is a movie directed by Ali.

Relatively, I think this is a low cost superhero movie. The movie tries to make the hero not an ordinary superhero, thus, a completely norm "tourist" outfit (with no design cost??). The superhero has a few powers, those norm among superheroes too. They got no more idea on how to elaborate further on the superhero gua. There are a few scenes that are amazing on the computerized effects. Too bad they keep repeating it. And about the twist point, surprisingly out of what everybody will expect! But out of that, as for me, that just turns the movie into two parts.

3.5/10:
Will Smith didn't get it good enough, not his fault maybe. Yeah, superhero is destined to be alone! maybe...

The Dark Knight

I get boring eventually on the first 45mins of the movie. "Is this another normal hero chases bad guy hides game?" Dragging on the story telling this and that. But that is not until the china man get caught. Suddenly, the seek and hide, the tricks and pranks have been so attractive. Some kind like 无间道, you gotta think awhile for some of the consequences. The difference is they tell you at the end of the story. Erm, I shouldn't revealing too much.

Frankly say, this superhero is one of the most mankind superhero. Seems realistic. Even though, Christian Bale looks more attractive on the mask, some said. Keke. And Heath Ledger gets the role potrays the best as the Joker. No overacting. Smart but illogical. As what the maniacal Joker supposed to be. By the way, Aaron Eckhart is one of the most important supporting role. I can't tell more. Afterall, he is not a badman (pun intended). :P

9.9/10:
Oh, I didn't say anything about Maggie Gyllenhaal? That's why 0.1 mark gone. She is not a joker! (pun really intended) :P
Why they make her looks so ugly / old ??!!
Why so serious??
@@
(I found no picture of her in the movie, so go find out @ the cinema) :P

Over The Weekends - Part 3

18th-19th May ~ MLW (Cont'd)

Once when I was staying at Melaka, I was too lazy to go out. Frequently friends would ajak-ed me out and conversation went: "Let's go out?" ~ "Where?" ~ "Err...MP?" ~ "MP again?"... But what is it now? After the new Mayor of Historic Malacca City Council, Yusof Zainal, has taken place, he intended that Melaka should be developed into a more cheerful place in order to attract tourists, which we were calling it "The New Malacca".

Warning: Long post and pictures overdose!
All pictures are enlarge-able.

Continue here!

The New Malacca

Despite the attractive Historical spots existed, Melaka is now further enhanced with several entertainment spots and a few hundred thousands of... LED *bling* *bling*

See!
Was it the new Mayor took visual management course? :P

It was along the Melaka River and recreational park (Melaka River Pirate Park, what a weird name) was built just beside the river. The river used to be dirty and smelly but now it is being taken care. Keep up the work and hopefully it can be sustained!

Another side of the LED decorated building may be abit gloomy.
"咚咚咚,生人勿近!" @@

Szeepy and PohPing in the Melaka River Pirate Park.
Were they named it Pirate Park because it has a pirated Eye on Malaysia Melaka? ^_^lll

Because it has a Pirate Ship in the park! (a mock one i heard??)

Regardless of whether it's mock one or not, great fun came with great companies! :D

Gogo KTV

There was also the first ever karaoke outlet has been opened on jetty near MP (Mahkota Parade). Being one of the cheapest karaoke, you might find its service was not as good comparing to others (eg: aircon to be on after guests in, apparently low efficient sound insulation etc). Despite of that, it's still a high value-to-cost karaoke session especially we have Khoo-San the Superstar!

The Boyz @ redbox Gogo KTV.

And The Girlz.

And the Superstars!
And the One-Eye-Monster!

Next was Menara Taming Sari.

I supposed most of tourists have visited the historical building but not from the top of them. We got the bird's eye view on top of Menara Taming Sari. Frankly say, bird's eye view on places I have been familiar with was such excited experience. "Oh, there is that there are those, oh, there is the hidden place I never (cannot) go into!"...

SMBees' Arising!

Clockwise from Top Left: The Hill, Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, Melaka River & Flora de la Mar Muzeum, Straits of Malacca.

The Pahlawans!

Well, that's all we have gone and through during the very short two days trip. I wouldn't deny I'm trying to promote Melaka through these asslong posts. It's far greater than just a good news that Melaka can keep growing as one of most welcomed tourism spot. Guys, discover it!

Extra ~ SMB-ish Craziness @ Historical Melaka

Keke, how could I just end the post without laborating more on SMBees?! I'm not going to have deep talk on the friendship/realtionship etc (it's kept in the heart one :P) But I cannot escape to tell about the craziness of SMBees :P

Kisah Benar (wtf) @ Lotus Inn

You might notice that I didn't mentioned much on our accomodation during the trip. Well, as that was a budget trip, the accomodation was not any star rated hotel but it was Lotus Inn.

In this building, some of the SMBees (names were not displayed to save their faces from some scratches) just couldn't resist but to aim the first victim of the trip! That soon to be included into the Melaka historical building (@@) inn just making people feeling gloomy. So, one of the Pahlawan-Don has been seated in the girls' room prior to their check-in. Well, you get the trick!

Car Beauty @ Red&White Kenari @ Melaka River

What do you always see when you seen a sport cars in display?

The Red&White Sport Kenari.

Yes, you see it from the title, you gotta expect car beauty when there is sport car.
So, ladies and gentlemen plesae applause and welcome SMB car beauty!

jeng jeng jeng!!!

"Aiyo...Paiseh la Paiseh laaa..."

"Lai lo, 招牌笑容!"

"Common Beibeh, tell me you cannot resist me Beibeh!"

"Let me kiss you Beibeh, common Beibeh, MUUUAACKSSSS"

Ok, no more. You want more you gotta pay for access!

Back to nature @ Dataran Pahlawan

Last but not least!
People tends to back to the most nature when they are in a place of historical. I wonder. :P

"I don't have constipation, kekeke!"

Disclaimer: Some of above characters maybe created, illusionally. If you find it matches, you are lucky! muahaha :P

That's the end of the MLW.

When KFC mentioned that he felt everybody of SMBees was still remained the same, I didn't agree with it. I would say everybody has changed to adapt their environment, their work. But at one time, you have been returned to the environment that you once used to be in, the people you used to be with, you'll find yourself, at a moment, back to what you were (back to a more nature wise? :P), face-off, and be a more nature you!

Whether it's good or bad, you judge it!
I found the greatest funs and memories! :)

Cheers, Friends!
Till next time!

Over The Weekends - Part 2

18th-19th May ~ MLW

Since started working, part of the salary (quite big sum actually) has been allocated for leisure travelling. Thus, the hoo-haa of travelling here and there and planning of the trips. I was actually getting the fun really much! Included MLW!

What was MLW? In full name, it was "Melaka Leisure Walk" and that was one of the SMB course trips. That was one of the successful one after the Sibu and Cameron Highland trip. Almost all the SMBees were attended. (Hint: The budgeted trip is always the most welcomed trip. Heck, inflation is the monster, who don't want to be in the luxury trip!)

Once again I was travelling back to Melaka for the event. As of name of Leisure Walk, so it was meant to be walk walk, see see, eat eat, and not least play play! I'd say I've met back a bunch of crazy old folks.

MLW ~ The SMBees

Historical/Tourism Spots

Melaka is all about RED buildings.
They are Christ Church Melaka, Clock Tower & side wall of Muzeum.

The Queen Victoria Fountain
Didn't I mention Melaka is so colorful?

The Dutch Windmill
Annoying tiang lampu =.=

Walls!
A Famosa & St. John Hill

We were simulating the operation of the bomb explosion hundred years ago!

Beauties and the Famosa.

Ah-hoong:"Retired Captain Hook!"
WTF

Cheng Hoon Teng & Masjid Kampung Kling.
You can notice that the mosque was built in pagoda-like shape potrays the mixture of culture.

We went to Jonker Street too. But there was not much photo on that due to the crowd and "sardin-ed" between visitors.

As you can see, People Mountain People Sea!
By the way, the background was the Georgrapher.

Yummilicious

The Leisure Walk was not complete without the Makan Session. As Melaka born folk, I was never realized there were so much yummilicious around Melaka! Thanks to CheeSeong for bringing us for all the foods. You will be amazed by how much food we had consumed within the two days trip!

First Stop: Hoe Kee Chicken Rice @ Jonker Street

Hoe Kee is not the Chicken Rice Ball origin. The origin is the only one with no fancy decoration but an old style narrow building ~ Kedai Kopi Chung Wah. Too bad it was so crowded that we decided to move on to Hoe Kee.

Crowded!

Hoe Kee - Decorated to be looked old.

Chicken Rice Ball

Personally, I don't think the chicken rice ball was so special. That was another attempt after several years when I was last eating the chicken rice ball. Still tasted normal. But that was definitely not below standard. If you haven't tried it, give it a try!

Hoe Kee was visited with several TV shows crew!

Second Stop: Portugese Settlement Seafood @ Ujong Pasir

Instead of taking the seafoods, I might really recommend on the shells type seafoods. As reaching the restaurants, you will be "caught" by several "PRs" to order their seafoods. I was later informed that they were actually providing similar (taste and variety and price) kind of seafoods. And that was only one stall that didn't look nice but was selling the best seafoods around that area.

The Stall
(Picture stolen from Preciouspea)

Full display of the shell type seafoods available.
(Picture stolen from Preciouspea)

We were ordering most of dishes for that night from the normal seafoods restaurant. As from the stall, we ordered some scallops, giant lala, and others I don't remember the names.

So juicy!

Third Stop: Museum Cafe @ Jonker Street

That was what we saw once we entered the Cafe. The feel was so old style that by default the digicam set to "Sepia" mode.

Old school Bruce Lee vs The Rock Star Beckhon.

Oh, I'm suppose to talk about the things we ate at here. That shop was actually famous with the Gula Melaka Baba Cendol. But too bad, it was finished when we reached there. Nevermind, we ordered other delicious desserts like Gula Melaka ABC & Nyonya Laksa. We ordered ABC for each person and shared the asam laksa. That was after that, we found it was totally not enough to share the asam laksa. You gotta get one bowl for yourself!

Old kopitiam serving style bowl - Gula Melaka ABC.

We were too busy eating the Nyonya Laksa that we forgot to take picture!
(Picture stolen from here)

I'm waiting for the chance to go back there again to taste the Gula Melaka Cendol!

Fourth Stop: Char Xiu Fan

I forgot the name of the shop. It was opposite Capital Satay Celup. Anyway, a total of 11pax of us were only ordered two plate of Char Xiu Fan. We were too full after rounds of food marathon. Only Khoo-San able to sapu the char xiu fan. One and a half plate I should note.

Mouth Watering Display.

Khoo-San: Hmm, macam tak cukup la.

Fifth Stop: Pork-Rib Noodle @ Gajah Berang

The second day of the trip, the first thing we needed to execute was to taste the Pork-Rib Noodle. The shop was supposed to be a beef noodle shop. And please don't be mistaken, the beef noodle was as nice as other told me, it was barely I was not eating beef. I was not sure if the shop was originated from Taiwan, but the shop name was "台湾著名川味牛肉面大王".

台湾著名川味牛肉面大王

Q noodle served with crispy pork-rib. Yummy!

Sixth Stop: Tan Kim Hock @ Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho

Basically we were not consuming any food at Tan Kim Hock. The durian cendol was not yet opening during our early visit. So, the outsiders were taking the chance to buy "sourvenir". The so called local food products were actually being exported to most of the places around Malaysia. But maybe you can feel the origination of buying the products at Wisma Tan Kim Hock.(??)

The glance of its products.

See, they were feeling happily ever after by buying the products! :)

Seventh Stop: Restoran Hup Huat @ Off Jalan Bunga Raya

That chinese restaurant served Fried Wanton with porridge. Normally we are taking wanton with pork but that wanton was actually came with prawn! Adding the other dishes: Hainan chicken & random vege completed our lunch.

Prawn Fried Wanton and other dishes.

It was located beside the federal cinema which was left unused long time ago. You need to search for it as it was off the road which a huge car park in front of it.

Restoran Hup Huat.

Eighth Stop: Teo Soon Loong @ Jalan Hang Kasturi

That restaurant even harder to be found. It was hiding somewhere beside the lorong on the same row as Cheng Hoon Teng. It was a Teo Chew restaurant and of course serving Teo Chew foods. That was the Eighth stop and the last stop of our Makan session and actually was the last "official" activities of MLW. I've no doubt that everybody was enjoyed the dinner as delicious as it was supposed to be. It was not surprising, it was also the most expensive makan session we had.

A total of eight courses (coincident ei?) we had ordered. As recommended from the reviewers over net and also the "demanding" Taukeh of the restaurant. The rule was that you ordered what raw materials you would like them to be served and that was all. Off your mind on the prices, the cooking styles and even the total of dishes you would like to ordered, The Boss was the one to decide that! But what to care, it was Yummilicious! That was the point!

L-R UP-Bottom:
Oyster Noodle (orh mee), Soft Shell Crabs, Bitter Gourd Pork-Rib, Braised Duck, Prawn Steam Ginger Wine, Kailan, Tauhu, Yam Mash (orh nee).

Yam mash was actually came with pumpkin and nuts. I was never a supporter for pumpkin. But the combination of that dessert was superb. It was not too sweet as a dessert, and out of my expectation, there was no any strange smell of pumpkin. Tasted really smooth and orgasm. Haha!

KFC - The Yam mash Master!
After taught by the Shifu of the shop, he took over the role to distribute the yam mash, with precise quantity of combination that made it tasted so nice! v**v

Teo Soon Loong with its special layout. You must bypass the kitchen to enter to the dining table. The "Full" signage was always ready to be hung, so find the phone number and get your table booked before you go there. (Advertisement @@)

Over The Weekends - Part 1

OMG!
I'm dragging it too long! But please rest assure, I got the reason why I didn't do it, you will know at the end of the post.

I'm talking about the log that I suppose to write for the past weekends started from early of May to June. I was actually quite occupied with activities and kept me out of the boring squares (room and monitor).
Let's see see :)

Warning: Long post and pictures overdose! For the history of this blog la

3rd-4th May ~ Not so Mother's Day

Ok, that might not be really a nice start for the log. But if you remember, I was actually planning for Mother's Day celebrating during the-quite-long-Labour-Day-holidays. And I was travelling all the way back happily with all the celebrating plans. That was only before I got to know my Granny was tripped up somewhere and causing difficulty to walk properly. Further more, on that night, she was again tripped up at the midnight when she tried to go toilet without wanting to awake anybody nice sleep.

I was feeling quite blamed and wrong BECAUSE I was the last one awoke to help on that moment, WHILE she was falling down JUST beside my bed!! If you cannot imagine how serious that moment was, that was causing my Granny losing any tiny energy even to speak/shout for help and at last being sent for hospitalization straight after that.

Thanks God, Granny was recovered back to stable stage. But that was not the end, I was later informed that, instead of that, my mom was feeling uncomfortable on her backbone. It was Osteoporosis. That might be normal to aged folks, but for the mother of seven, she is one of the mother that used to be 命苦. Never ending housework and thus every work she is doing now may cause risk to her bone. I was later spending some times searching for the bone supplements pills and visco-supplement to be injected into bone to strengthen the structure. They are suppose to maintain so the bone is not worsen.

Sigh.
Women, there are only three of you in the house.
Each of you is precious to me, to the FAMILY.
Just take the good care and a little bit more! :)

So, that concludes that weekend activities and the following weekends ain't that bad anymore. (That weekend was suppose to be superb too, next time ya)

10th-11th May ~Post KK Gathering

Thanks to MeeWah.

Singapore Mt. KK Conquer Team was so passion that they invited those KK Kakis around Southern area (which were only KCY and me duh) to join the Post KK Gathering. Well, nice three-storey-cost-million-ringgit-semi-detach, nice dining course, nice wine (!!), nice & entertaining hosts (!!!), everything was so nice that kcy and me dengan muka tak malu overnight-ed.

What I should mention was that the idea of setting dinner table at garden was such a brilliant. So natural, so environmental-friendly, so windy, provided the place was not crowded with mosquitos la. Instead, I was actually prefer a wider place, a non-taman area, for the dinner (oh, I think I mean my hometown house, I should do some garden dinner sets back there) (but then my Granny will mumbling T_T ).

There were actually not many pictures for this. Just enough.

Cheers!

That guy was good at "shooting" people die with wine.
Heck, he himself was a super-drinker!
Thanks for kesian-ed me and not drunken me :)

Next is his son. Lucas, like father like son, as talkative. Though he might a little bit shy at first while meeting all of us, but ended up quite "close"/"stick" to me. He could talked everything to me. And talking like an adult about how he was pressurized on his study, tuition etc =.= Oh, I still owe him a toy! Later!

Ignore the annoying background.
The red little object was Lucas.
Alamak no face also.
No worry, he is as handsome as his dad, anybody wants to book for your daugther can find me, I can arrange for you and charge accordingly. :P

As you can see, everybody was very enjoyed with the sumptuous dinner, smiling all the ways up. As it was not enough, the dinner was provided with so called free-flow beer & wine supplies! KCY and me contributed two bottle of red wine (which were AZ's all the ways from NZ, con sial), some random beer called Sapporo Classic supplied by Suk Kiong, and the main drinks supplied by the host: Martell Cordon Bleu!

Most guys were escaped from the host shoots on the wine by excuses of needed to drive after the dinner, including me. Meanwhile we were open-eyed watching the plot by our bikini-aunt-bb and the host, I named it Tai-Chi-Wine-Battle =.= So now you know what is that tai-chi on works and actually wine shoots also can tai-chi. Too bad we didn't record down the plot. Tsk Tsk.

Beside the battle, there were not least other "victims". KCY claimed that he was having the highest consumption of wine of his life on that night. Firstly was beer, then upgraded to red wine, and lastly kena-shot also by the host with Martell. I was not sure, but I thought he was slightly drunken. Next was SukKiong, the die-die-yam-sheng drunker. I thought she really enjoyed being shot by the host actually. The spirit of yam-sheng was blossom in the bottom of her heart I supposed @@ Lastly, I'm going explain the fakeholey-innocent-joyce. Our cutie jocika was surprisingly a very good drinker! After round of rounds, she was actually remaining concious. I'd say the amount of wine she had taken was not less than most people there. So, I should officially "honour" Joyce "SMB-Queen-of-Drinker"!

McD-daddy-george being amazed by SMB-Queen-of-Drinker!

KCY and me were overnight at the million-dollar building and the other day we were treated with Singapore-One-day-Trip. To be exact, it was a 游车河 trip. Breakfast at so-so typical chinese stall at Singapore. Then went to Upper/Lower Pierce reservoir which for me was perfectly clean comparing to any taman rekreasi at Malaysia.

Later on was the lunch at 鼎泰丰. Yum yum! Alot of food we were eating, but all I remembered was only 小笼包. How come how come?... Next was truly 游车河, wondering around the town searching for Teluk Blangah. Teluk Blangah pictures taken were too blur. So i just search on the net and this is it.

Teluk Blangah - Henderson Waves

It was barely a wavy-shaped bridge hung over Teluk Blangah hill and Mount Faber across Henderson road. Quite a good place to walk around. It would even better if the orientation is slightly twisted so it's facing the sea.

That was a weekend spent in Singapore. Thanks again to the supernice-host-meewah! Thanks for the host, thanks for the treat and thanks for everything! :)
